Dec. 29, 2009-Email & Pics

Hey mom whats up?so i got to e-mail today so no worries at all. and we got a ride beacuase it would have been an hour and half walk to the library since the college is closed. well i have an hour here for a time limit but at the college i will have unlimited time so you can write me as much as you want on here. so its been a couple of slows days since i talked to you which feels like it was just yesterday... but we have been stuck in our apartment basically because of the mission president telling us to stay inside with both of us being sick. but it was nice we got to get out yesterday to visit some people but we had to walk. haha i don't think i've walked that much in a very long time. but it was sad when we walk for a couple of miles to an apointment and they weren't there that happend twice. but i would rather walk around like that then be stuck in our apartment. we did have a dinner appointment last night and it was way cool! but geuss what we had.... breakfast for dinner. it was so good! reminds me alot of home haha! mmmm waffles!!! then we got the left overs so we've been eating them since then! so nothing really new is happening here i've been really studying revelations for one of our investigators. he has lots of questions about that. we basically had an hour lesson on revelations and the second coming my first day out and i had no clue what was going on... lucky elder jackson was there to help me out. but yeah we have some investigators but not any that are too close to baptizm. many are having prolbems with the word of wisdom which is sad. everybody smokes around here. and everybody has a dog or in most cases 3 or 4 dogs that don't like missionaries. and also our investigators struggle with jobs on sundays. its hard to say yeah you need to quit your good job to go to churh but if you show faith and do this the lord will bless you and help you find another job. well thats about all thats happened... i've found some really good scriptures but i forbout my scriptures so i don't really remember them... but i've found that alma 7 is amazing!! its helped alot.Well me and my companion are doing really well. we get alont great! i'm sending some pictures for you guys hope you like them!!!! i will send them in a couple e-mails so you know!! well i got to go! i'm doing great and after this we are having lunch then going to play volleyball for a few hours with everybody around so it will be way fun! pray for me that i'll be able to ride my bike and not get hit and die from a car! love you yall! (yes i just said YALL) !!! i'll write you a letter tonight hopefully if not sorry haha jk i will!LOVE ELDER DOWNS
